Movati Athletic was first established in July 1997 and has grown to become the most exciting new health club in Ontario. With our new clubs featuring up to 75,000 square feet spanning two floors, the future growth of Movati Athletic is rooted in a culture of service and team spirit. Sandy Bastien, Club General Manager, Amherstburg
In 2005 I began my career with Movati Athletic as a Customer Service Associate, Sales Associate and Personal Trainer. The company continued to support my growth with training towards a management position. It has been my pleasure to service our members in all of these capacities. I was extremely grateful for a one year contract opportunity in 2014/2015 to fill the role of General Manager in our Orleans location. Currently I am the very proud General Manager of Movati Athletic Amherstburg.
Ryan Green, Personal Training Manager, Barrhaven
I began my career with Movati in November 2015, where I started as the Personal Training Manager in Barrhaven. Since joining the team I’ve been challenged, have developed my skills as a PTM and have learned the amazing Movati way. Currently, I’m the GM for Barrhaven.
Christian Kraft, Facilities Operation Manager, Waterloo
Movati has allowed me to grow in a number of ways. I have received a lot of support, communication, teamwork, and guidance with my professional development. As the Facilities Operations Manager at our Waterloo Club, I have taken on projects like developing new training procedures, purchasing new and exciting products, renovations, and supporting new staff in their roles.
Danielle Norup, Maintenance Technician, Trainyards
My career experience at Movati started as I was hired to repair and maintain the fitness equipment. Having a mechanical background well prepared me for the role. Being female offered an advantage over my male colleagues as I have access into our Women's Only area with minimal disruption to our members. My position now incorporates a variety of duties from maintaining the pools and spa to servicing the 17 HVAC units while still making sure the fitness equipment is in good working order. I have a passion for fitness and being active. I enjoy my job as it keeps me very busy mentally and physically

I started working at Movati Athletic back in January of 2016. My experience here has been nothing but amazing since the beginning. I love the people that I work with and I thoroughly enjoy meeting the new people that walk into our gym every day. The people here at Movati are like family to me!
Sandra Erimiea, Membership Coordinator, Kanata
I have felt very welcome, comfortable, and healthy since the beginning of my employment with Movati Athletic. In 2014, I began my role as a Customer Service Associate (CSA) where I learned every detail about our facility and got to interact with each one of our members, getting to know lots of them personally. I was recently interviewed for our Membership Coordinator position and shortly after was promoted! There are many reasons I enjoy working at Movati but one of the central ones is the emphasis on being a part of a very friendly team!
Rachel Harkies, Group Fitness Coordinator, Guelph
I started at Movati Athletic Guelph when the club opened in 2006 as a Group Fitness Instructor. Within 8 months I had also taken on a full time job as a personal trainer. Almost 10 years later with breaks for two babies, I am now in the Group Fitness Supervisor role. This has honestly been a dream come true for me. The role I am in now is a perfect fit. I love my job!
